What You Will Be Responsible For
- Lead the architecture, governance, and evolution of enterprise Design Systems, including UI components, design tokens, theming, and reusable patterns.
- Partner closely with UX/UI Design teams to translate design concepts into scalable, consistent, and reusable component libraries.
- Define and evolve enterprise frontend architecture standards, patterns, and best practices across multiple teams and platforms.
- Lead technical architecture discussions, design reviews, and provide guidance on scalable frontend solutions.
- Drive frontend strategy for modern web applications, including framework selection, application structure, and rendering approaches.
- Establish and enforce component lifecycle management, versioning, documentation standards, and contribution models.
- Drive frontend engineering excellence including performance optimization, Core Web Vitals improvements, and accessibility (WCAG compliance).
- Drive adoption of component-driven development practices using tools such as Storybook.
- Lead frontend architecture and development practices within Adobe Experience Manager, including components, templates, and content models.
- Define best practices for AEM-based solutions including authoring experience, content reuse, personalization, and multi-site delivery.
- Collaborate with AEM backend developers and content teams to ensure scalable and maintainable CMS implementations.
- Ensure alignment between AEM, frontend frameworks, and enterprise digital experience architecture (including headless and traditional approaches).
- Build and maintain reusable, accessible, and high-performance UI components across applications.
- Define and implement frontend testing strategies including unit, integration, end-to-end, and visual regression testing.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and frontend delivery automation.
- Mentor engineers, lead code reviews, and uplift frontend engineering practices across teams.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Design stakeholders to ensure alignment on digital experience strategy and execution.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of frontend engineering experience.
- Experience architecting large-scale enterprise web applications.
- Proven experience building and scaling Design Systems.
- Strong experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Experience leading frontend initiatives across multiple teams.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
