Role description summary / Purpose of the role: To initially provide investment support to Global Systematic Equity portfolio management team with a specific focus on Decision Support, Portfolio and Index Analysis, Process and System Enhancement and ad hoc support. Subsequent to reaching the required competency level, to manage a range of passive equity funds within the Global Systematic Equity portfolio management team. The role will include all aspects of management for a range of regional and global index equity portfolios including rebalancing, risk monitoring and exposure management.
Responsibilities:
- Management of index pipeline
- Creation of single stock group draft trades
- Analysis of upcoming corporate actions for value add or wealth preservation opportunities
- Updating client‑specific guidelines in portfolio management tools and managing client‑restricted lists in issue lists
- Support the ETF basket process
- Build trade lists (stock, FX, futures) to be reviewed/submitted by Systematic Equity Investment Managers
- Monitor portfolios against index and liaise with investment managers and index providers as the need arises
- Custom client reporting, performance and attribution analysis plus risk analytics as the need arises
- Working with investment managers to improve efficiency of processes and workflow
- Assist in building required reports and presentations for internal governance committees
- Portfolio Management stage: monitoring tracking, risk and exposure; trading for index changes and cash flows; performance measurement and attribution
Qualifications:
