Charles River is expanding its Implementation Services Team. The Consultant will be responsible for all aspects of implementation of the Charles River Investment Management System (IMS). They will become a product expert quickly and remain up-to-date as product and industry changes occur.

Responsibilities

  • Day‑to‑day management of an implementation project from a CRD perspective.
  • Interpret workflow analysis documents and convert them into configuration specifications for the CRIMS to ensure best‑practice delivery.
  • Provide ongoing communication and evaluation of project status to the client and the Charles River Project Manager.
  • Serve as a single point of contact for the client during the implementation project.
  • Execute daily project plan steps and document the client’s needs.
  • Lead the client’s utilization of CRD products and services, including facilitating conference calls and meetings with consultants and product experts.
  • Communicate relevant upgrade and major release information.
  • Manage training and consulting resource requests.
  • Monitor and assist with the issue‑escalation process.
  • Respond to additional product requests.
  • Coordinate work performed by CRD representatives in other locations.
  • Maintain awareness of industry changes and trends.
  • Travel extensively; up to 5 days per week at client sites within the EMEA region.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience implementing financial systems, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong front‑office experience (order management, fund manager/trader relationships).
  • Experience with the Charles River Investment Management System or an equivalent competitor.
  • Deep knowledge of investment‑management workflows, including fixed income/derivatives, equity, compliance, IBOR, PMA, ex‑ante and ex‑post risk and scenario analysis.
  • Preferred if previous focus includes risk systems, IBOR or scenario analysis.
  • University degree in finance, technology, or a related discipline.
  • Fluency in a second European language is highly desirable.
  • Superior client‑facing skills and ability to present to business, technical, or sales audiences.
  • SQL or equivalent technical knowledge.
  • Project‑management experience with a clear understanding of the project life‑cycle.
