Who we are looking for
We are seeking a Vice President to lead Middle Office Reconciliation Onboarding across EMEA within our Alpha Client Implementations team. This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing client onboarding delivery, leading regional teams, and ensuring successful implementation outcomes for the reconciliation workstream within complex, multi‑workstream programs.
What you will be responsible for
- Lead reconciliation onboarding initiatives across EMEA, with accountability for delivery across multiple complex client programs.
- Provide clear direction and oversight to ensure successful execution of onboarding milestones and consistent, high‑quality outcomes.
- Act as a senior escalation point for delivery, operational, and client‑related issues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client and internal stakeholders.
- Partner with program leads and stakeholders to design practical, achievable onboarding approaches.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients on reconciliation processes, operating models, and delivery considerations.
- Support informed decision‑making by providing clear insights into risks, trade‑offs, and delivery options.
- Establish strong governance, documentation, and execution discipline across onboarding activities.
- Identify, assess, and manage risks, dependencies, and non‑standard requirements throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Ensure clients transition smoothly into live operations with stable, supportable processes.
- Promote structured, predictable delivery aligned with enterprise standards and governance practices.
- Drive the adoption of standardized onboarding approaches, tools, and templates to enable consistency across programs.
- Promote scalable solutions and continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce complexity.
- Partner with technology and operations teams to enhance onboarding capabilities, including automation and AI‑enabled solutions.
- Drive the adoption of automation and AI‑enabled solutions to enhance scalability, improve delivery predictability, and support data‑driven decision‑making.
- Lead and develop a high‑performing team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Build long‑term team capability and resilience through coaching, delegation, and knowledge sharing.

Education, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Technology, or a related field.
- Advanced degree or professional certifications are a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in financial services, with a focus on middle office, reconciliation, operations, or client implementations.
- Proven experience leading complex programs and managing teams.
- Strong understanding of reconciliation processes, operating models, and data dependencies.
- Experience working with clients and stakeholders across business, operations, and technology functions.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast‑paced, global environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to senior audiences.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings or weekends, during key client events such as conversions and go‑live activities.
