Background and Role summary

The role Marketing Officer will be responsible for supporting the Account-based marketing (ABM) and European marketing team on developing and executing marketing campaigns to support regional revenue priorities.

In this full-time position, you will support the team in content creation, assisting the development and implementation of marketing tactics including email, advertising, webinars, events and social media. You will also coordinate marketing metrics for reporting purposes.

You will be part of the ABM and European Marketing team and will be required to work collaboratively with the following teams: commercial coverage, product marketing, customer insights and analytics, digital team, content, creative, and if necessary, third-party contractors or agencies to deliver the projects according to plan.

This position will provide the successful candidate an opportunity to grow their skills and gain experience across the full marketing mix while working in a vital and dynamic industry.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Working with the ABM and commercial coverage marketing managers to support the execution of brand awareness and lead generation marketing campaigns, using a variety of channels including email, social media, paid media, webinars and events.
  • Content creation – responsibilities include writing and reviewing copy for social media, digital and emails and ensuring it aligns with the messaging and campaign strategy.
  • Coordinate the project management of marketing projects to ensure they are delivered to a high standard and on schedule.
  • Supporting the team on campaign performance reporting to include coordinating marketing metrics, tracking activities in CRM (Salesforce) and assisting with presentation decks.
  • Event management support (virtual and in-person) to include invitations, coordinating stakeholders/speakers, logistics and post-event communications.

Stakeholder management perspective

  • Stakeholder alignment: Ensure clear and regular communication with key stakeholders. Provide campaign performance updates.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g. digital, customer and analytics, product marketing) to execute marketing campaigns and tactics effectively.
  • Manage third-party relationships and/or agencies to help deliver best-in-class performance.

Profile Requirements

  • Relevant marketing and communications experience, preferably in a B2B financial services and/or technology organization OR a relevant marketing qualification with placement year experience.
  • You must be passionate about digital and understand the full marketing channel mix with experience in content, digital and email marketing.
  • A self-starter who is willing to be flexible to support the team as required. This will include supporting international campaigns when demand requires.
  • Ability to manage third parties to deliver high-quality projects to plan and on budget.
  • A creative thinker who stays up to date on the latest B2B marketing trends and technologies.
  • Ability to work, communicate, and influence marketing colleagues and peers.
  • Experience working in cross-cultural environments with the ability to operate independently, as part of a team, and globally (preferred).
  • Ability to research and analyze data.

  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
