Who we are looking for

The Trade Ne Xus Product Manager’s primary role is to support the product and business managers to implement product enhancements and expansions thoroughly and efficiently.

This includes collaborating with clients, sales, IT, and external partners to develop clear business requirements and specifications, troubleshooting, proactive project management, and working with internal groups to seek input and approvals to roll out new features and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product initiatives, assessing viability, risks, interdependencies, and analyze requirements, including technical specifications.
  • Develop and drive end-to-end product delivery, collaborating with Sales, IT, Legal, Compliance, and navigating State Street’s required processes such as new business approvals.
  • Define clear, concise, and thorough product specifications.
  • Identify risks and issues and propose or manage mitigation or elimination ideas.
  • Contribute to product innovation to maintain competitiveness, client satisfaction, increase market share, and generate new revenue streams.
  • Proactively manage any escalated queries or issues brought to the team.
  • Develop and maintain strong working partnerships within the Trade Ne Xus team and all constituents, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Work with the product team to develop and manage the Trade Ne Xus product roadmap, balancing strategic initiatives and ongoing platform enhancements.
  • Improve internal product processes to maximize control, communication, and efficiency.
  • Stay aware of industry trends, regulations, and developments related to the Trade Ne Xus client base and initiatives.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with partner clients, banks, and industry partners.
  • Participate in client presentations and conferences to educate customers on the business offering and future direction.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of industry experience in FX positions within product lifecycle leading initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, trading processes, and operational risks.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills with a solutions mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Self‑starter with the ability to lead multiple business initiatives concurrently.
  • Results oriented, capable of prioritizing and managing a broad book of work while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Appreciation of cultural differences globally.
  • Risk excellence mindset and ownership mental model.
  • Great communicator and motivator, able to engage all levels across organizations.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑moving, complex technical environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in finance, business, or computer science.
  • Background in foreign exchange (FX) and/or FX financial technology.
  • Experience as a product manager in financial services, fintech, or a related field, preferably focused on FX matching/settlement workflow technology.
