The successful candidate must be highly organized and be able to move seamlessly between multiple implementations and changing client requirements.

The Alpha Front Office Support Solutions & Implementation Workstream Lead will be responsible for managing and overseeing the due diligence/service definition, solution design, implementation/onboarding, testing and post-go-live efforts for several client implementations (likely simultaneously). The role will include implementing solutions not only for specific clients, but also as part of the core Alpha platform that will be leveraged across all Alpha clients.

The team you will be joining is a part of a global, cross-divisional group supporting State Street AlphaSM. State Street AlphaSM redefines the common definition of 'alpha' to mean powering better performance and outcomes at every point on the investment lifecycle and is the first open platform from a single provider that connects the front, middle and back office. It harmonizes data, technology and services across trusted providers to help our clients better manage their businesses.

As a Client Implementation Manager you will:

  • Work with external clients and portfolio managers to configure the Alpha platform for client-specific workflows.
  • Manage the definition of services, service level agreements, in/out scope discussions, and change control items with the client and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other teams to share approaches, develop best practices and improve team capabilities to successfully migrate clients.
  • Coordinate with a Model Office environment and team for internal and external testing and POC purposes.
  • Become a product and platform SME on State Street's Front-to-back platform.
  • Organize and conduct implementation project status meetings, including communicating status to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

These skills will help you succeed in this role:

  • Experience integrating with other industry software providers to promote platform interoperability.
  • Prior experience leading large scale client conversions and onboarding efforts in the financial industry.
  • Strong problem solving and project management skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and prioritise work accordingly.
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Expert in MS Office including MS Visio, MS Project and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline orientated, globally structured team-based environment.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • 10+ years of financial industry experience.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Front Office Operations, Transaction Management, Recording Keeping, Corporate Actions, OTC Derivatives, Performance & Analytics, Reconciliation, Reporting, Cash Management and Collateral Management.
  • Experience in project management/project co-ordination particularly on complex projects.
  • Experience in business analysis.
  • Demonstrable experience in a client facing role.
  • Effective communication skills.
