State Street's Alpha Transaction Management team seeks a versatile individual with strong business systems and data analysis skills to develop and support services and product offerings focused on Transaction Management. In the Alpha Client (ETN) Blotter Implementation role, the incumbent will be responsible for client onboarding onto State Street test and production environments and facilitate Alpha onboarding projects. Duties include obtaining an inventory of client legacy blotters, reviewing and understanding business requirements, and translating those into technical specifications for client approval. The role requires general knowledge of Trade Validation, Confirmation, and Settlement, and will support trade data analysis and enrichment throughout the trade lifecycle with GTM.

The candidate must possess expertise in complex business data analysis, functional requirements gathering, documentation, and excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. A proven ability to liaise between business, implementation, project, client, and technology teams and strong collaboration skills are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Work with PMO and project manager resources to create a project plan for (ETN) blotter implementation within the larger Transaction Management plan.
  • Host joint sessions with client counterparts to define an inventory of in-scope blotters and finalize business requirements.
  • Manage a team of analysts to transcribe client business requirements into internal technical requirements in the form of specification documents.
  • Assist analysts with complex data analysis, solution design, troubleshooting design flaws, and gaps with legacy models.
  • Own and drive forward workstream delivery from analysis to development to testing and conversion to live.
  • Present progress updates as the face of the workstream on internal and joint workstream calls.
  • Work with project management to ensure all internal and joint tracking updates are current week over week.
  • Manage delivery of post‐implementation, client‐initiated BAU change and general BAU support.
  • Provide oversight for a team of offshore analysts as they define requirements with the client via the Change Management process.
  • Support BAU stakeholders for recipient‐driven production issues and/or questions via the offshore team.
  • Identify and drive process improvements to deliver results while reducing cost and/or time to market for existing procedures.

  • Strong understanding and prior experience with industry Middle Office processes and procedures.
  • Experience with Transaction Management lifecycle operations and vendor applications (highly desirable).
  • Strong communication, analytical, project management, and problem‐solving skills.
  • Effective collaboration with middle office clients and third parties on blotter requirements.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and prioritise accordingly.
  • Proven history of understanding and analyzing complex client use cases, targeted data sets, and creating specifications based on client business requirements.
  • Understanding of upstream data inputs and their impact on client blotter requirements.
  • Strong analytical, reconciling and organisational skills.
  • Exceptional problem‐solving and analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot independently.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • 5 – 8 years of industry experience with Middle Office functionality, analytics and applications.
  • BS degree in Finance or a related topic.
  • Competency in MS Office including Excel, Word and Access.
  • Knowledge of Electronic trading platforms including Chares River, BBG, Thinkfolio and other TOMS.
  • Potential to travel to alternate sites for specific projects may be required, but is fairly limited.
