State Street Corporate Actions consists of approximately 800 individuals with presence in 6 locations, globally carrying out an end-to-end Corporate Action process within a Fund Accounting, Middle Office and Custody environment.
An excellent opportunity has arisen at the Senior Associate level within Corporate Actions Client Service which involves working with clients as a Corporate Action specialist. The candidate will be responsible for providing Subject Matter Expert support, answering Corporate Actions client inquiries and producing reporting deliverables within client service level agreements and agreed quality standards, as well as attending regular service calls with clients.
Working in a global team, the candidate will liaise with State Street colleagues and clients across multiple time zones on behalf of a diverse client base and may serve as an escalation point for clients.
As Corporate Actions Client Service Senior Associate you will:
- Act as a senior member of a specialised Corporate Actions Client Service team, acting as a subject matter expert support on projects and initiatives aimed at improving the corporate action product.
- Ensure client inquiries are resolved and escalated as needed, review aged inquiries to ensure appropriate and timely resolution in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Participate in client calls and complete reporting tasks within the assigned timeframes.
- Share knowledge, provide training and coaching to team members.
- Assist managers by prioritising the workload and ensure daily tasks are completed.
- Identify urgent issues and escalate to senior management.
- Demonstrate understanding of State Street's Risk Excellence principles and support the Risk Sensing function by identifying and documenting areas of potential risk, advocate solutions.
- Provide coverage in the absence of team member or First Line Manager.

A good understanding of the financial services industry is preferred, along with experience of Corporate Actions in a custody and/or middle office environment and Client Service experience in the finance industry. Educated to a degree level (preferred) or relevant financial services experience.
