State Street Alpha Client Implementation team is seeking a motivated and proactive person in the early stages of their career to join our Implementation Portfolio Governance Team, which is an administrative function to support the rapid scale of growth occurring within our business in the region whilst maintaining appropriate risk and governance controls. This role within the Portfolio Governance Team offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in management reporting, governance processes, employee engagement, and business management. The team you will be joining is a part of State Street Alpha. State Street Alpha is the first open platform from a single provider that connects the front, middle and back office. What you will be responsible for:

  • Management Information Support: Collate and organize management data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency, particularly related to client implementations and project governance. Produce visually engaging management information (MI) decks for leadership teams, summarizing key performance indicators, progress reports, and relevant data insights on client portfolios. Support the creation and maintenance of reporting templates to ensure streamlined and efficient processes across the governance and portfolio management functions. Assist in gathering and presenting data for management reporting purposes, ensuring that governance and business management standards are maintained.
  • Employee Engagement Support: Assist in the implementation and promotion of the employee engagement plan, ensuring alignment with company goals and culture traits. Coordinate and organize employee engagement events, workshops, and activities, both virtual and in-person, fostering team morale and collaboration. Support internal communications related to employee engagement, including event promotion, surveys, and updates. Assist in tracking employee feedback and participation to evaluate the success and effectiveness of engagement initiatives, contributing to continuous improvement.
  • Portfolio Governance Support: Assist in day-to-day business management activities, ensuring that portfolio governance standards are adhered to. Help track open actions, risks, and issues across business to ensure that governance protocols are followed. Provide administrative support to the Portfolio Governance Team, ensuring the smooth running of all business management processes.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: A degree or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g., Project Management, Business).
  • Experience: Previous experience in administrative, reporting, or support roles is advantageous, especially in governance, project management, or business management. Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel (experience with data visualization and project management tools is a plus). Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to work across various teams and client portfolios. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to present data and insights clearly. Comfortable working in a collaborative and team-oriented environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
