In this role you will drive business development for Transition Management across the Middle East, originating opportunities and building a robust pipeline. You will collaborate with cross-functional State Street teams to deliver integrated client solutions and position TM as a strategic response to portfolio changes. The role involves engaging senior decision-makers, including CIOs and investment committees, to win mandates and expand TM adoption. This is a growth-focused position that connects sales, capital markets expertise, and relationship management to shape client portfolios.

Responsibilities

  • Originate and convert TM opportunities across institutional clients in the Middle East
  • Build and maintain relationships with Central Banks, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Family Offices, Financial Institutions, Endowments and Foundations
  • Develop a strong TM pipeline and manage prospects through the full sales cycle
  • Collaborate with State Street relationship teams to identify TM opportunities
  • Coordinate with Investment Services, Markets, and other teams to deliver integrated client solutions
  • Act as trusted advisor during manager changes, restructurings, allocations, mergers and cash flow events
  • Present TM strategies and proposals to CIOs, investment committees, and senior stakeholders
  • Provide market intelligence on competitors, trends and client priorities in the region
  • Represent State Street at industry events, conferences, and client meetings

Key requirements

  • 7+ years in institutional sales, TM, capital markets, custody, trading, or related areas
  • Proven success winning institutional mandates and forming senior client relationships
  • Ability to originate and close complex, high-value opportunities
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work across multiple business lines and geographies
  • Established network of clients/prospects in the region
  • Willingness to travel extensively regionally and internationally
  • Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus)
