State Street’s Wealth Services business unit is seeking a dynamic Vice President to support the Head of Europe. This role will provide support across Relationship Management, Governance, and Product Management. There will be a need to compile and update action plans to deliver on near term goals to drive greater engagement internally and externally in the area of Wealth services.

State Street Wealth Services seeks to enable wealth advisors and their investment managers to achieve better outcomes for their clients and themselves, thereby enabling revenue growth across all areas of State Street. The Vice President for Wealth Services will work on supporting the drive to develop and scale the market within Europe. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting a wide range of activities for the business including:

  • Document market entry plan and track execution for Europe working closely with other Wealth Services global product groups.
  • Assist engagement with c-suites of client organizations in Europe.
  • Support definition and document business plan for European Wealth Services and track P&L, through sales, client relationships, and product strategy updates.
  • Understand and document regulatory aspects specific to local geographies and contribute to a Governance framework including a controls framework.
  • Develop an understanding of the wider touch points across STT in order to ensure an alignment between the Wealth Service strategy and the approach taken by our clients and prospects.
  • Document and track partners for European clients for Wealth Platform and Services.
  • Support frequent communication and collaboration with internal sales and client account teams.
  • Document local requirements for submission to the global product teams to ensure product development is tailored appropriately.
  • Contribute inputs to the Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).

These skills will help you succeed in this role:

  • Knowledge of market dynamics and regulatory landscape of financial services within Europe.
  • Experience in supporting collaborating across the enterprise to deliver business results.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and entrepreneurially minded.
  • Ability to document the translation of industry / client themes and trends for input into actions and track.
  • A customer orientation which allows him/her to support the effort to solicit, acquire, and act on information from customers concerning their current and future needs, issues, and challenges.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in asset servicing businesses across client service, relationship management and or sales.
  • Proven experience managing senior stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Ability to operate in a fluid environment with incomplete information.
  • Experience managing a large portfolio of competing deliverables across prospects, clients, Product, commercial objectives and regulatory obligations.
