Overview
As Head of Portfolio Management for Systematic Equity across EMEA and APAC, you will lead regional teams to implement disciplined investment strategies within global frameworks. You will balance regional market realities with global standards, oversee portfolio construction, trading coordination, and regulatory compliance, and drive client solutions and product growth. This role sits at the intersection of investment execution, risk governance, and commercial growth, reporting to the CIO of Systematic Equity. You will shape regional thought leadership and collaborate across regions to scale strategies.

Responsibilities
- Lead regional portfolio management teams across EMEA and APAC to ensure consistent, disciplined strategy implementation
- Oversee regional execution of portfolio construction, trading coordination, and regulatory/compliance alignment
- Align regional processes with global investment frameworks while accommodating local market structures
- Serve as the senior escalation point for regional portfolio and implementation issues
- Represent Systematic Equity to clients, prospects, and consultants in the region
- Partner with regional Client Coverage and Product teams to support business development and client retention
- Translate global investment strategies into regionally relevant client solutions
- Identify and develop new Systematic Equity strategies aligned with regional demand and regulatory considerations
- Drive efficiency, scalability, and consistency of portfolio management processes across regions and strategies
- Promote automation and data-driven decision-making; collaborate with CIO, US PM, Technology, Trading, and Operations to optimize workflows
- Lead and develop geographically distributed teams; foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Manage regional budgets, resources, and investment priorities to support growth and profitability
- Participate in regional and global governance forums
- Support talent development, mobility, and integration with global teams
Key requirements
- 15–20+ years in investment management, preferably in systematic or quantitative equity
- Experience leading teams across EMEA and/or APAC
- Solid understanding of regional institutional markets and regulations
- Proven client engagement and product development experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- CFA, MBA, or equivalent strongly preferred
