In this leader role, you set the vision and drive execution to reshape how Legal delivers services across the enterprise, blending process redesign with AI-enabled workflows. You’ll lead a cross-functional transformation portfolio, partnering with Legal, Contracting, Finance, Risk, and Tech to deliver measurable gains in productivity, quality, and risk management. You’ll work hands-on in designing and delivering scalable legal technology while guiding executive strategy and day-to-day delivery. This is a player-coach position centered in a connected leadership trio focused on practical, impactful change.

Responsibilities
- Set and drive the transformation agenda with a sequenced roadmap
- Provide portfolio oversight across all transformation workstreams and dependencies
- Lead end-to-end process redesign of core legal workflows using lean and design-thinking
- Own the legal technology agenda and drive adoption of CLM, e-billing, KM, GenAI/agentic AI platforms
- Establish and manage an agile delivery cadence (sprints, backlogs, demos, retros)
- Collaborate with Contracting and Business Intelligence leadership to align roadmaps and ensure data flows
- Lead a lean, high-performing transformation team and personally tackle complex, executive-facing workstreams
- Drive change management with training and communications to land changes within the legal organization
- Partner across Finance, Risk, Compliance, Technology, Procurement, and business units to align with enterprise priorities
- Prepare materials for GC, Executive Committee, and senior leaders to frame decisions and tradeoffs
- Measure productivity, quality, and run-rate impact with BI dashboards and reporting
Key requirements
- 15+ years of transformation leadership experience within the legal industry
- Proven track record of legal process transformation with measurable outcomes
- Hands-on experience deploying legal technology at scale (CLM, e-billing, KM, GenAI/agentic AI)
- Agile methodology experience in non-engineering environments
- Change management experience in professional services or regulated settings
- Financial acumen for business cases and investment tracking
- Data fluency with workforce analytics, process mining, and AI-driven insights
- Experience collaborating with outside counsel and ALSPs, and vendor management
- Experience leading and developing teams as a player-coach
- Executive presence and credible communication with senior leaders
- Influencing without authority and coalition-building
