Head of UK Consultant Relations, VP2 | London | Hybrid (four days in the office)We are looking for an experienced consultant relations professional to lead our UK Consultant Relations team. This is a player-coach role. You will lead the Team and act as the main link between State Street Investment Management (SSIM) and research and portfolio management teams at major consulting firms. It is an excellent next step for an experienced consultant relations manager ready to lead a team.

You will combine investment expertise, strong relationship management skills and team leadership to contribute to our consultant strategy and help generate commercial opportunities. Success will depend on building a close partnership with the investment, sales and client teams across State Street.

The role sits in the Global Client Coverage Group, reports to the Head of UK and Ireland Client Coverage, and works closely with the UK Sales and Strategic Partnerships team.

What you will doYou will: Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and deliver the UK consultant relations strategyBuild a clear view of consulting firms, their priorities and how they assess managersOwn and grow key consultant relationshipsPresent our investment capabilities and solutions to consultants with confidenceKeep consultants informed of relevant SSIM developmentsWork with our sales teams to identify and win opportunities from consultantsCollaborate with consultant relations teams across State StreetUse consultant feedback to strengthen our products and strategiesLead and develop a team of one consultant manager and two analystsWhat we valueYou will bring: Clear, persuasive communicationA strong record of building trusted senior relationshipsThe judgement and confidence to influence at all levelsDrive and persistence to turn opportunities into resultsThe ability to lead, coach and develop a small teamExperienceSignificant experience of institutional investment, ideally in consultant relations or investment consultingStrong knowledge of investment markets, products, and industry trendsDeep knowledge of the UK consultant market and manager research processA CFA charter or equivalent investment qualification is preferredAbout State StreetAcross the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
