As part of the CRD Business Development team, you will manage and grow partner relationships across trading venues, sell-sides and data providers. You’ll coordinate with R&D, Product, Sales and Legal to evaluate, negotiate and contract new partnerships, while sustaining key relationships and driving revenue with existing partners. You’ll contribute to go-to-market plans and strategic partnerships that enhance the CRD ecosystem and liquidity options. This role offers exposure to cross-functional product strategy and market expansion in a global setting.

Responsibilities
- Manage the full Business Development lifecycle for new partnerships, from evaluation to Go-To-Market planning
- Collaborate with Product Management, R&D, Strategy and Sales to identify needed partnerships and assess functionality, integration and pricing
- Lead commercial negotiations to define basic terms and coordinate contract creation with Legal and Procurement
- Maintain relationships with top brokers and the 500+ Sell Sides on the CRD FIX Network; handle monthly reporting, billing and risk inquiries
- Oversee contract renewals, amendments and assignments; resolve issues to drive revenue for CRD and partners
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support partner engagement and align with product roadmaps
- Support product management in delivering medium and long-term road maps and strategic partnerships
- Conduct market assessment, competitive intelligence and vendor risk analyses
- Produce ad hoc reporting and contribute to strategic projects and product positioning
- Assist Sales/Client Management in broker/venue/workflow discussions and act as escalation point for FIX Network Ops
Key requirements
- Strong understanding of electronic trading workflows across asset classes, including Trader workflows, Connectivity details and FIX protocol
- Project management skills; ability to prioritize and drive tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent follow-through, time management and attention to detail
- Experience with vendor ecosystems used by institutional asset managers and buy-side technology
- Commercial software experience with both early vetting and final rollout of partnerships
- Knowledge of investment industry instruments, workflows, major players and macro trends
- Strong interpersonal and executive communication skills
- Self-motivated with initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Global business development experience preferred; 4–6 years of relevant experience
