Position Overview: The Customer Service Representative interacts with customers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints related to products and services. Responsibilities include screening insurance documents, updating and following underwriting and claims guidelines, obtaining additional information, and updating systems accordingly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address and resolve customer inquiries, queries, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Issue quotations for individual and group policies.
- Provide support and information on our products and services.
- Screen insurance policies for coverage suitability.
- Assist in preparing reports and other documents.
- Support claims filing processes and update underwriting and claims guidelines.
- Provide clerical and technical assistance to team members.
- Collect and record customer feedback, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, products, and regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to customer service strategies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in business management or related field.
- At least two years of customer service experience, preferably in insurance.
- Insurance certification is an asset.
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication and active listening skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office; adaptable to new software.
