About the Role
We’re looking for a Growth Intern to join our team and help drive Stasher’s next stage of growth. This is a 6–12 month internship (with the possibility to extend if you are a great fit) and can be remote or hybrid! 🚀 As a Growth Intern, you’ll dive into the travel startup industry and get hands-on experience in sales, partnerships, and marketing. You’ll work closely with our team to forge new partnerships, manage key relationships, and experiment with creative ways to grow the business. If you have a bit of experience and a lot of passion for travel tech, this role is the perfect launchpad for your career.
What You’ll Do - Key Responsibilities
- Identify & Prospect: Research and reach out to potential referral partners in the travel and hospitality space (think hotels, travel sites, STRs, etc.).
- Deal-Making: Negotiate and close partnership agreements, defining win-win terms and key success metrics for each deal.
- Partner Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our partners, ensuring they’re happy and seeing value.
- Growth Experiments: Manage and grow new customer acquisition channels – try out ideas to get more travelers using Stasher.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with our product, marketing, and ops teams to seamlessly integrate partner services and improve the user experience.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor partnership performance and analyze data (yes, spreadsheets 📊). You’ll report insights and results to the leadership team.
- Innovate: Brainstorm and launch new growth opportunities – from cross-promotions to upsells – to drive revenue and user growth.
- Trend Spotting: Stay on top of travel industry trends and shout out new opportunities (new markets, product features, partnerships) when you spot them.
What You’ll Bring - Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 0-3 years in sales, business development, sales or partnerships, preferably in travel or hospitality.
- Languages: Very good command of English and at least one of the following: French, Spanish, Italian, or German (you’ll be working with partners across different regions).
- Communication & Negotiation: Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and presentation skills – you love meeting new people and striking deals.
- Analytical Skills: Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets for tracking metrics and analyzing performance data.
- Self-Starter: You can work independently, take initiative, and thrive with minimal supervision – but you’re also a team player who loves collaborating.
- Creativity & Drive: A creative problem-solver with a proactive attitude. If there’s a roadblock, you find a clever way around it.
