The business has grown rapidly over the last few years from humble beginnings to a small but strong team based in mid-Wales, being featured on BBC’s Dragon Den and winning a King’s Award for Innovation in 2025. We design, manufacture and distribute our products to 51 countries through our Shopify E-commerce platform and have a network of retailers and distributors throughout the globe selling our innovative products to consumers, trade users and professionals. The future is bright for Stashed, with new products, market opportunities and collaborations being presented every day.

The Role

At Stashed, our growth is driven by strong commercial relationships and the belief that our products belong in the world’s best bike shops, studios, and retail spaces. As Commercial Sales Manager, you’ll lead our retail and distributor development — with a focus on proactive outreach, partner success, and scalable global growth.

Role Summary

The Commercial Sales Manager leads outbound sales efforts and manages our growing retail and distributor network. You’ll be responsible for securing new accounts, managing sales pipelines, and ensuring our partners are equipped for success. You’ll also support operational tasks such as forecasting, pricing strategy, and coordinating with marketing to align campaigns across B2B channels, whilst leading a small sales team to hit targets for trade, commercial, retail and distribution sales. This role requires the individual to take ownership of revenue generation for Stashed.

Core Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities, including in-store installations and retail ‘house accounts’
  • Manage existing and developing new distributor and agent relationships across international markets
  • Develop onboarding programs, training packs, POS, and sales collateral for new partners
  • Maintain sales tracking systems and B2B CRM accuracy for reporting and forecasting
  • Own the sales process development and sales ops infrastructure (contracts, EPOS, offers, pricing, order processing)
  • Represent the brand at trade shows, meetings, and partner activations
  • Liaise with Brand and Performance Marketing teams to ensure alignment of campaigns and seasonal messaging across channels
  • Monitor account health, repeat purchase behaviour, and distributor performance
  • Develop market-specific strategies in collaboration with regional distributors and leads
  • Provide commercial feedback into product development, positioning, and merchandising
  • Retail model, distribution planning and GTM strategy development
  • Manage, review and develop yearly financial budgets and be responsible for delivery.

Experience & Skills Required

  • 5+ years in a B2B sales, account management, or commercial development role
  • CRM system development, management, reporting and refinement (ideally Monday CRM software)
  • Comfortable with Shopify E-commerce and Monday work management tool
  • Highly IT literate and very capable with MS office
  • Contract negotiations and legal comprehension, able to identify and resolve potential risks to the business
  • Comfortable managing outbound sales activities, pipelines, and negotiations
  • Experience coordinating across internal teams (e.g., operations, marketing, support)
  • Highly organised with strong commercial and data instincts
  • Skilled at presenting brand and product stories in a compelling way
  • Experience in E-commerce, retail, distributor management, or cycling/active lifestyle brands, with a substantial global network
  • Fantastic networking and interpersonal skills, to build long lasting business relationships
  • Pro‑active, self‑starting and highly motivated by being involved in the success of a promising young business
  • Great communication and happy to be involved with all members of the team – from operations to marketing to board members
  • Able to grow something from nothing – there is probably no predefined route or structure in place, so you will need to figure it out.
  • Entrepreneurial outlook a big bonus and experience being involved in a small business at some point in the prior career whilst also taking learnings from larger organisations.

The type of person for Stashed

There is still a strong entrepreneurial mentality required within the business, which requires the right type of person to work here. You will need to be self‑motivated and directed, always thinking on your feet as the business moves quickly. No two days will be the same, and there could be tasks that could be outside of your core skill set where you will need to self‑direct to solve problems and figure out how to make progress. As a small business, nothing is ever perfect or highly refined (yet). You will be expected to build systems and put in place procedures, operations, documents and software to form the way we conduct business, using your own ideas and initiative. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who gets a buzz from seeing their actions and efforts turn into results, ones who can take responsibility, ownership and accountability. An uncapped commission based sales scheme will be in place after a probationary period.
