Catering Manager

Overview We are a small family run catering business, serving onsite and catering for external events.

We are seeking a dedicated Catering Manager to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and hospitality, with experience in catering, restaurants, or hotels.

This role is essential in ensuring that our events and day to day run smoothly and that our customers receive exceptional service.

As a Catering Manager, you will be involved in various aspects of food preparation and cooking, service, and customer interaction.

Duties

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food for onsite and events.
  • Delivering food and coffee for events.
  • Preparing coffee.
  • Serving food to customers.
  • Handling the till and taking payments, card and cash.
  • Ensure all food safety standards are maintained throughout the preparation and serving processes.
  • Provide excellent customer services by attending to the needs of customers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, including kitchens and serving stations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or restaurant environments is essential.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on customer services.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as required by events.
  • A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and service.

Hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 2.30pm.
