What you will be doing
As a Lottery Collector, you will play a crucial role in boosting our fundraising efforts by collecting lottery ticket payments and assisting with subscription renewals by visiting our supporters locally.
The funds raised through these efforts provide vital help to the charities and non-profits that we support.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like
Your remit will include visiting lottery supporters door to door in local neighbourhoods of York, ensuring timely collection of payments, and promoting ongoing engagement with the lottery to maximise community contributions.
What You’ll be able to Bring to the Role
- This role is perfect for someone who enjoys social interaction with the public; you will need excellent communication skills and ability to engage with people from all walks of life.
- Resilience & self-motivation, comfortable with all weather conditions.
- Full UK, clean driver’s license and access to own vehicle is required. Mileage will be covered by the company.
Salary: £12.21 per hour + commission (potential earnings up to £15 per hour)
Working pattern: 10 hours per week; flexible with early evening availability required.
