incident.io is an incident management platform that helps companies when things go wrong. Whether they are site outages, data breaches, or functionality issues, incidents happen all the time. When they do, we help get the right people in the room, communicate how you are responding, and provide tools and insights to learn and improve.

The Team

This is a unique opportunity to become incident.io's first Senior Brand Designer and directly shape our brand presentation. We are on a mission to elevate our brand—from our website to social media, billboards, and conferences—to look and feel amazing. As part of the wider Design team, you will help maintain and elevate our high standards, creating polished work and shaping world-class brand experiences.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead the design of our website, collaborating with product designers, marketers, web developers, and specialists like illustrators and animators.
  • Oversee our brand rollout across all touchpoints, including social media, events, and our flagship conference, SEV0.
  • Advocate for consistency and craft as we scale and grow incident.io's brand.
  • Partner with the marketing team on tactical and strategic projects, bringing your perspective on brand development.
  • Collaborate with the wider design team to ensure product quality supports brand excellence.

What you need to be successful:

  • A portfolio showcasing exceptional brand and marketing design work, including websites, campaigns, guides, and presentations, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in digital design using Figma, and experience with Adobe products for print materials.
  • Experience working with frontend engineers to translate designs into reality, including tweaking HTML/CSS.
  • A collaborative mindset, proactive in sharing work-in-progress and incorporating feedback.
  • Organizational and pragmatic skills to navigate startup ambiguity.
  • Experience with motion design / animation.
  • Experience designing booths and installations for conferences and events.

The salary range for this role is £100,000 - £135,000, plus equity options, determined by experience, skills, location, and market factors.
