Startup Coalition is an independent advocacy group that serves as the policy voice for technology-led start ups and scaleups in the UK. We have over 4,000 startups in our network and have been instrumental in building proactive coalitions of businesses and investors on issues that are integral to the health of the UK's startup ecosystem.
JOB DETAILS
- Run our events calendar end-to-end, planning and delivering logistics for everything from intimate policy dinners to conference activations.
- Keep high volumes of output moving without dropping a ball, juggling multiple events at different stages while staying organised under pressure.
- Build relationships with venues, caterers, and partner organisations to ensure every stakeholder is aligned.
- Own the guest experience by managing invite lists, RSVPs, and on-the-day logistics for a seamless experience.
- Contribute to the small operation, working together to deliver great policy work that supports tech startups and scaleups.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Highly organised with a track record of running multiple events simultaneously without missing details.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with high volumes of output and shifting priorities.
- Calm under pressure and comfortable troubleshooting on the day of an event.
- Confident communicator, liaising with venues, suppliers, and senior stakeholders.
- Passionate about politics and technology, wanting their events work to support a broader policy mission.
