Veränderung startet mit uns. Die 21 Institute des Fraunhofer-Verbunds IUK-Technologie entwickeln digitale Lösungen für Wirtschaft, öffentliche Hand und Gesellschaft. Um die technologische Souveränität und Wettbewerbsfähigkeit Deutschlands sowie Europas zu stärken, bündelt der Verbund seine Aktivitäten in strategischen Roadmaps und treibt damit die digitale Transformation voran. Über 5.000 Forschende arbeiten an Software, Prototypen sowie Studien und führen Tests und Qualifizierungen durch.
Hier sorgst Du für Veränderung. Du unterstützt uns als Praktikant*in bei der Weiterentwicklung von Fraunhofer InnoVisions, dem Zukunftsmagazin des Fraunhofer-Verbunds IUK-Technologie. Auf der Plattform präsentieren wir Forschung, Innovationen und Zukunftstechnologien für ein breites Publikum. Gemeinsam entwickeln wir den technischen und gestalterischen Auftritt der Plattform weiter. Du arbeitest im Rahmen des Praktikums dabei eng mit unserem Team für Kommunikation und digitale Medien zusammen. Du hilfst dabei, aus einem bestehenden Online-Magazin eine moderne Plattform für Wissenschaftskommunikation zu entwickeln. Dabei beschäftigst Du Dich nicht nur mit der technischen Umsetzung, sondern auch mit Fragen der Nutzerführung, Informationsarchitektur und digitalen Darstellung von Forschungsinhalten. Gemeinsam entwickeln wir in WordPress und Elementor einen modernen, performanten Webauftritt. Konkret: erstellst Du Templates für verschiedene Beitragsformate, konfigurierst Du Plugins, erarbeitest Du Dokumentationen und Redakteurs-Workflows und sorgst Du dafür, dass Website und künftige Pflege reibungslos laufen.
Außerdem bringst Du Deine Erfahrungen und Kenntnisse im Webdesign in die Umsetzung der Plattform ein.
Hiermit bringst Du Dich ein. Du studierst Informatik, Medieninformatik, Kommunikationsdesign, Visuelle Kommunikation, UX Design, Medienwissenschaften oder einen ähnlichen Studiengang. Weniger wichtig ist, in welchem Semester Du bist – entscheidend sind Deine Kenntnisse in WordPress und Elementor. Ob Du diese in einem Uni-Projekt, einem Nebenjob oder mit einer privaten Website gesammelt hast: alles zählt! Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift sind Voraussetzung; Englischkenntnisse sind von Vorteil.

Du gehst Dinge strukturiert, aber pragmatisch an. Du weißt, wie Du Dich innerhalb der Spielregeln – zum Beispiel unseres Corporate Designs – so bewegst, dass am Ende eine schlanke, durchdachte Lösung herauskommt. Wenn Du mal nicht weiterkommst, suchst Du Dir eigenständig Antworten und fragst nach, bevor Du in die falsche Richtung läufst. Außerdem arbeitest Du gerne im Team, nimmst Impulse auf und gibst eigene Ideen weiter.
Was wir für Dich bereithalten:
- Echten Gestaltungsspielraum: Wir geben den Rahmen vor, die Lösungen kommen von Dir – keine Assistenzrolle, sondern echte Mitarbeit
- Am Ende des Praktikums hast Du ein reales, öffentlich zugängliches Projekt einer der bekanntesten deutschen Forschungseinrichtungen in Deinem Portfolio
- Flexible Arbeitszeiten und die Möglichkeit zum teilweisen mobilen Arbeiten (Remote-Office)
- Arbeitszeiten: 39 Stunden pro Woche
- Dauer des Praktikums: mindestens sechs Wochen, idealerweise zwölf Wochen oder länger.
- Vergütung zwischen 450 € und 724 € pro Monat, je nach Art des Praktikums (Pflicht oder freiwillig)
