Position Summary
We are seeking an energetic, passionate makeup artist with a passion for clean, luxury beauty to educate clients on Gucci Westman's makeup philosophy while providing the highest level of client experience. This is a traveling role, responsible for delivering an elevated client experience and expert brand education at multiple retail locations, rather than being based at a single counter. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and is excited to be an ambassador for the brand throughout our Central London Department Stores. This role requires flexibility and adaptability - shifts will be subject to change depending on the needs of the business.
Responsibilities
- Provide welcoming, personalized, professional service to all customers at all times.
- Assist customers with product selection and application.
- Provide shade recommendations and assist customers with product selection.
- Uphold brand guidelines.
- Stay up to date on Westman Atelier products and education.
- Attend and actively participate in training meetings, virtual or at-counter, as provided by the Sales and Education Team; implement learnings on the job.
- Practice proper hygiene guidelines when demonstrating products on clients.
- Maintain consistent and effective clienteling and follow-up.
- Achieve all targets and KPIs - AUS and IPT.
- Record and report all OOS to manager; follow up to ensure timely replenishment.
- Maintain cleanliness of counter and taster units/testers.
- Support regional events as required.
- Maintain strong communication with SEM to ensure effective allocation of time.
Requirements
- Previous retail industry experience, specifically within the beauty industry preferred.
- Previous make-up artistry or luxury skincare experience preferred, however, we welcome applicants who are creative, excited, and eager to learn.
- Must be able to follow brand and retailer image guidelines at all times.
- Candidates with a passion for the clean, luxury beauty space are preferred.
- Must be able to work fully flexible retail hours, including: days, nights, weekends, and special events.
- 1 year working as a Westman Atelier Make-Up Artist.
- Fully certified for complimentary and paid services.
