Waking Night Support Worker – Children\’s Residential Home
Location: Near Folkestone
Salary: Competitive
Hours: 3 nights one week, 4 nights the next (rotating shift pattern)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

You\’ll be joining an organisation that places great value on both the children in their care and the wellbeing of their staff. Their focus is on providing a safe, supportive, and homely environment where young people can grow and thrive.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide consistent overnight care and support for children with learning disabilities.

  • Maintain accurate records and reports in line with organisational policies.

  • Follow safeguarding, fire, and health & safety procedures at all times.

  • Participate in mandatory training and continuous professional development.

  • Attend supervisions, appraisals, and team meetings.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people in a residential setting is desirable but not essential.

  • A caring, resilient, and proactive approach to support work.

  • Willingness to work towards a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or already hold it).

  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of care and professionalism.
