Are you an experienced Combustion Service Engineer with a background in industrial steam or hot water boilers? Would you like to join a well-established manufacturer that genuinely invests in its engineers through ongoing training, excellent earning potential and long-term career development? We are recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer of industrial steam boilers and combustion equipment who are expanding their UK Service Team. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a skilled engineer to cover the Milton Keynes & surrounding area.

This is a varied field-based role where no two days are the same. You'll be working with a wide range of industrial boiler and combustion systems, providing first-class service and support to customers across your region.

The Role

  • Servicing, maintaining and repairing industrial steam and hot water boilers
  • Commissioning new equipment
  • Fault finding on gas and non-gas systems
  • Gas maintenance and gas safety inspections
  • Boiler upgrades and modifications
  • Carrying out site surveys
  • Completing risk assessments
  • Providing outstanding customer service
  • Supporting customers with technical advice when required

What We're Looking For

Ideally you'll have experience working on industrial steam or hot water boilers and have a solid understanding of combustion systems and industrial multi-fuel burners. However, additional manufacturer training will be provided for the right engineer.

Essential Qualifications

  • COCN1 - Core Commercial Gas Safety (or CODNC01)
  • ICPN1 - First Fix Installation of Commercial Pipework
  • CIGA1 - Indirect Fired Appliances
  • TPCP1 - Testing & Purging >1m
  • BMP1 - Gas Boosters (up to 0.5 bar)
  • CoNGLP1 PD - Natural Gas to LPG Changeover

The Person

  • Has a strong multi-disciplined service background
  • Can work independently and manage your own workload
  • Enjoys fault finding and solving technical problems
  • Delivers excellent customer service
  • Works well under pressure while remaining a team player
  • Holds a full UK driving licence
