Β£31,000 + yearly bonus (DOE) Start Monday are recruiting for a
Senior Care Practitioner
to join a
brand-new children's home in Ashford . This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced children's residential care professional to take on a senior role, supporting the Deputy Manager with the day-to-day running of the home, leading shifts and helping to develop and support the staff team. Most importantly, you will play a key role in
supporting, nurturing and safeguarding the children and young people
in your care.
The Role
Act as shift lead and support the Deputy Manager with the running of the home. Provide high-quality emotional and physical support to children and young people. Lead and support the care team, helping to maintain high standards. Promote a safe, nurturing and positive environment. Ensure safeguarding procedures and individual care plans are followed. Work in line with Ofsted regulations and current children's social care legislation. Support the development and wellbeing of the children and young people.
About You
You will need: Strong experience within
children's residential care . Good knowledge of
Ofsted regulations and children's social care legislation . Previous experience in a senior or shift-leading capacity. A genuine passion for supporting children and young people. Strong communication, leadership and safeguarding skills. A positive, reliable and proactive approach.
Salary & Benefits
Β£31,000 + yearly bonus , depending on experience. The salary includes a shift rota with
