The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

This is a SPR vacancy, we are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to assist in the daily planning of our client's busy warehouse environment based in the Wolverhampton location.

Duties:

  • To perform a first line management / supervisory role within the warehouse structure.
  • Responsible for accurate distribution of goods to customers using outside transport.
  • To perform all duties with a strict adherence to the system procedures and maintain the highest standards of customer service.
  • To lead and drive the team towards KPI’s and ensure objectives are met.
  • To ensure efficient, accurate and on-time shipment of goods to customers.
  • To manage time and attendance.
  • To maintain high standards of housekeeping.
  • To carry out any fair and reasonable duty inside or outside their direct area of responsibility.
  • To allocate the work of the people in the department.
  • To communicate with staff on a regular basis, targets and operational objectives.
  • To make themselves available for annual stock take.
  • To ensure stock rotation is always adhered to.
  • To develop and train the employees within the department.
  • To promote our philosophy of Continuous Improvement/Total Quality Management together with the clients vision and principles.
  • Responsibility for goods dispatched from the warehouse, ensuring goods are ready for collection by carriers by specified times.
  • Responsibility for a FIFO system of material movements in the warehouse.
  • Ensure compliance to QS 9000 Element 19: handling, storage, packaging, preservation and delivery; reinforcing the system to ensure FIFO.
  • To ensure H+S and environmental requirements are met.

  • Customer Complaints (PPM FIG)

Job Requirements - Essential:

  • Good standard of health.
  • Professional attitude.
  • SAP Knowledge/experience.
  • FLT License.
  • Literate and Numerate.
  • Communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Warehouse computer system experience.
  • Must appreciate the benefits of team working and be able to lead teams.
