A leading company in warehousing and logistics is seeking a Stores Assistant to join their fast-paced and dynamic team. This role is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with experience in stock management, order picking, and dispatch operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving & Storing: Unpack, receive, and store goods safely and securely.
- Order Preparation & Dispatch: Ensure accurate and timely picking, packing, and dispatching of goods to customers.
- Warehouse Organisation: Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of work areas.
- Stock Control: Assist in stock management and rotation to optimise warehouse efficiency.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to company health and safety policies.
- Additional Duties: Undertake other tasks as required to support the department.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar warehouse or stores role.
- Valid forklift and order-picker truck licence (Counterbalance & Reach preferred).
- Ability to lift and move heavy parts as required.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, methodical, and able to work independently.
- Flexible and adaptable to the needs of the business.
