Salary:ÂŁ11.44 per hour
Employment Type:Part-Time (2.5 days per week: Wednesday afternoon, Thursday, and Friday full days)

We are looking for a passionate and experiencedPart-Time Nursery Practitionerto join our team in West Bromwich. In this role, you’ll work in the preschool room, creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children while supporting their development and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a \”key-person\” for assigned children, ensuring their welfare and fostering strong relationships with parents.
- Assist in planning and delivering the preschool curriculum, including activities like circle time, phonics, and school readiness.
- Observe and document children’s progress using learning journeys, maintaining accurate records.
- Supervise children during playtime (indoors and outdoors) and mealtimes.
- Support the implementation of the EYFS framework and promote inclusivity in the nursery environment.
- Take on some key holder responsibilities, including opening and closing the nursery when required.
- Assist with daily tasks such as preparing snacks, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring health and safety throughout the nursery.
- Participate in nursery events, training sessions, and meetings as needed.
- Qualification:NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- Experience:Minimum 2 years in a nursery setting.
- Certifications:Paediatric First Aid Training.
- Strong understanding of Ofsted standards and health & safety legislation.
