What You’ll Do
As a Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in delivering and collecting units to and from sites, ensuring a smooth and professional handover process.
Key responsibilities include
- Inspecting units and taking photos using a handheld tablet before delivery.
- Delivering equipment to sites and completing the customer handover process.
- Collecting units from sites, thoroughly inspecting for damages or shortages, and accurately logging findings.
- Performing daily vehicle checks, reporting defects, and ensuring adherence to manufacturers’ service intervals.
- Using and downloading digital tachographs in line with legislation.
- Keeping vehicles clean, organised, and well-maintained.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
- Maintaining professionalism, politeness, and a customer-focused approach.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with handheld tablets and vehicle condition appraisal (advantageous).
- A valid
Driver CPC and digital Tacho card .
- At least
2 years’ driving experience on a UK licence.
- Excellent communication and journey planning skills.
- A strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Flexibility for early starts and occasional overnight stays.
