About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electro Mechanical Service Engineer to join a busy workshop-based engineering team. This is a hands-on role involving the inspection, servicing, repair and assembly of pumps and associated equipment within a specialist engineering environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with a dedicated engineering team, supporting maintenance activities and ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer service.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Inspect, service, repair and assemble pumps and associated equipment
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Carry out equipment performance testing
- Assist with fault finding and technical problem solving
- Liaise with customers and suppliers where required
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop environment
- Support continuous improvement and company procedures
- Assist in the development and support of other team members
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working in a similar electro mechanical, maintenance or workshop-based engineering role
- Working knowledge of motors and/or pumps
- Electrically competent with strong hands-on engineering ability
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
- Ability to manage workload effectively and prioritise tasks
Qualifications & Experience
- Technical qualification (minimum Level 3)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within a similar workshop environment
- Computer literate (Word, Excel and general systems use)
