Starting Point Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable HVAC Operative to join our client's growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair across commercial and industrial sites. Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and equipment.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Complete service reports and maintenance records accurately.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
  • Respond to reactive maintenance call‑outs if required.
  • Liaise professionally with customers and site representatives.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Previous experience working within HVAC, mechanical, or building services environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Good understanding of health and safety procedures.

Desirable

  • Relevant HVAC qualifications or certifications.
  • F‑Gas Certification.
  • Experience working within commercial or industrial environments.
  • IPAF, PASMA and CSCS required certification.
  • Own tools.
  • MUST be able to travel around the region - Will receive paid digs.
