The YES Service provides holistic health and well-being services to young people aged 11-25. The service operates as a Hub in Ballymena, providing opportunities for young people to socialise and access information, advice and support.
Responsibilities
- To engage and supervise young people individually or in groups while undertaking project programmes, activities or while being transported to and from such.
- To develop new and innovative methods of working with young people which are sensitive to their needs.
- To act as a mentor to identified young people, providing support based on Start360 values.
- To develop and deliver educational programmes in school and community settings.
Skills and Qualifications
- Hold a minimum of OCN Level 2 in Youth Work.
- A minimum of one years’ experience in the planning and delivery of programmes for young people and adults, including experience of partnership and community development work.
