Photographer/Videographer - Volunteer

We are looking for a talented and passionate Photographer/Videographer to volunteer with our charity and become our main point of contact for all photography and video needs.

What are we looking for?

Skills

• Photography & Videography Strong ability to take high-quality photos and videos in various settings (indoor, outdoor, events, etc.).

Proficiency with different camera equipment and lighting techniques is highly valued.

• Editing Skills Experience with photo and video editing software (such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, or similar tools) to produce polished content ready for use.
• Social Media Savvy Understanding of social media platforms and how to create visually engaging content for these channels.

Knowledge of creating content for online marketing and awareness campaigns is beneficial.

• Organisation Ability to manage multiple projects at once, from planning shoots to editing and delivering content on time. Attention to detail is key.

Experience

• Prior experience in photography and videography, ideally in a professional or volunteer capacity.

Experience in documenting events, creating promotional videos, or working with charitable organisations is a plus.

• Familiarity with creating content that aligns with a brand's voice and mission.
• Experience with live events and capturing spontaneous moments that tell a story.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend charity events, trips, and activities to take professional photographs and video footage.
• Edit and deliver high-quality images and video content to the charity's communications team.
• Ensure all photos and videos are in line with the charity's branding and messaging.
• Assist in the creation of promotional material, such as event highlights or short video clips for social media.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure visual content is delivered in a timely manner.
