Start Thurrock invites submissions for an artist, creative practitioner, collective or organisation to work with residents and volunteers in East Tilbury to develop bold, impactful place-based creative concepts. This opportunity is open to creatives who share Start Thurrock’s values of enabling residents to step forward and shape creative activity that takes place in their community.
Call For Proposals
We are seeking proposals that outline a creative approach to engaging and involving communities in the development of creative projects/concepts that utilise existing community spaces in the centre of East Tilbury and are accessible to all. The commission will take place in East Tilbury, and the creative projects/concepts will respond to this location and be rooted in the interests of the local community there and driven by what residents want to celebrate in East Tilbury.
Fee £6,000 inclusive of VAT, production and materials.
