Our client is a leading manufacturer of speciality films and coatings for the medical, security, optical and printing industries.

On behalf of our client we are now seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic Mixing Leader to join their growing team at their manufacturing facility in Wrexham.

The Role The Mixing Team Leader is responsible for all aspects of the Mixing Operation on site, alongside the Equipment cleaning area and Chemical Warehouse.

The role ensures that all Health & Safety procedures are met within these areas, alongside maintaining high housekeeping standards, whilst simultaneously ensuring that production receive all required clean equipment in a timely manner, and ensures the prompt accurate delivery of mix, made to the correct Quality standard.

The leader will be required to drive quality excellence and drives data‑driven decision‑making to support operational KPIs, and product quality, along with allocation of staffing in the area.

The ideal candidate

Qualifications and Knowledge

  • Good knowledge of ISO 9001standard.
  • Strong understanding of company procedures, operational processes, and manufacturing systems around Mixing and Chemical control,
  • Knowledge of EHS requirements and compliance standards.
  • Grounding in SPC, FMEA, Lean Six Sigma and CI methodology.
  • Process and product quality understanding.
  • Strong knowledge of customer requirements and market expectations.
  • Experience in Change Management and driving process improvement programs.
