We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the warehouse, ensuring efficient processes and optimal productivity. This role requires strong leadership abilities, a thorough understanding of warehouse management systems, and experience in supervising teams. The Warehouse Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy, overseeing shipping and receiving operations, and implementing best practices to enhance business processes.

Duties

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Utilise warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control.
  • Oversee the training and development of warehouse staff to promote a high-performance culture.
  • Implement efficient business processes to optimise workflow and reduce operational costs.
  • Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and transportation management systems to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Conduct regular audits of inventory and equipment to maintain compliance with safety standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments to align warehouse activities with overall business objectives.
  • Ensure the safe operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment within the warehouse.

Experience

  • Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role is essential.
  • Strong understanding of profit loss management within a warehouse setting.
  • Experience in supervising teams and managing workforce performance effectively.
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, as well as transportation management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse business processes and implement improvements for efficiency.
  • Previous experience working with 3PL providers is preferred but not mandatory.
