We're recruiting for an experienced Transport Supervisor to join a busy and fast-paced transport operation based in St Neots.

The Role

  • Supervise the day-to-day transport operation
  • Support route planning and driver scheduling
  • Lead, motivate and manage a team of drivers
  • Ensure compliance with Drivers' Hours, WTD and Operator Licence requirements
  • Monitor vehicle utilisation and delivery performance
  • Liaise with customers, drivers and the warehouse to ensure service levels are achieved
  • Resolve operational issues quickly and effectively
  • Promote a positive health & safety culture

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience within a transport or logistics supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of UK transport legislation and compliance
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced transport environment
  • Experience within a pallet network operation is highly desirable
  • National CPC qualification desirable but not essential
  • Good IT skills and experience using transport management systems
