Start People are looking for an experienced CNC Machine Operative to work with one of our key engineering clients based in Trafford Park. This is a full time, permanent role.
As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for the setting and operation of CNC machines (Programming is not essential but would be seen as an advantage).
You will need:
- Experience of Fanuc & Siemens controls
- Experience on Machining Centres / Vertical lathes & borers
- Ability to use measuring equipment (Micrometers, Verniers etc)
- Understanding of tolerances and work to drawing requirements
- Ability to amend programmes using tool offsets
- Knowledge of G & M codes within a programme
