Start People are looking for an experienced CNC Machine Operative to work with one of our key engineering clients based in Trafford Park. This is a full time, permanent role.

As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for the setting and operation of CNC machines (Programming is not essential but would be seen as an advantage).

You will need:

  • Experience of Fanuc & Siemens controls
  • Experience on Machining Centres / Vertical lathes & borers
  • Ability to use measuring equipment (Micrometers, Verniers etc)
  • Understanding of tolerances and work to drawing requirements
  • Ability to amend programmes using tool offsets
  • Knowledge of G & M codes within a programme
