Auto Electricians Required

Location: Solihull

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Shifts: 12 Hours / 6-7 Days

Pay Rates: £18.00 – £23.00/hr (Plus premium weekend overtime)

Our client is currently expanding their elite team in Solihull and is looking for highly skilled Auto Electricians and Senior Authorised Personnel (SAP) to support major vehicle programmes. The work involves vehicle rectification, and we are seeking electricians with proven rectification skills looking to take their career to the next level, with a pathway for you in Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs).

What We Are Looking For

  • Experienced BEV / SAP Vehicle Electricians (£23.00/hr)
    • Qualifications: IMI EV Level 3 or Level 4 with proven, hands-on vehicle experience.
    • Diagnostic Expertise: Elite-level fault diagnosis. You must be able to confidently identify complex faults and provide feedback.
    • Vehicle Focus: Deep, practical experience working on full Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV), not just isolated battery packs.
  • Major Rec Electricians – EV Upskilling Pathway (£20.00/hr)
    • Highly experienced Auto Electricians with standard EV certifications who want to bridge the gap to full BEV status.
    • Invest in Your Future: We will assess your skills and provide access to the required transitional training at heavily discounted rates to upskill you to full BEV standards, unlocking our top tier pay rates (£23.00/hr).

Shift Patterns & Commitment

  • This is a high-earning, high-hours contract designed for dedicated professionals.
  • Hours: 12-hour shifts.
  • Rotation: Minimum of 6 days on rotation.
  • Shift Type: Day shifts and rotating schedules.
  • Commitment: Full-time hours only.
