We’re looking for a Senior Control Systems Engineer who can take complex ideas, turn them into robust designs, and see them through to successful delivery on site. In this role, you’ll work across multiple industries, collaborating with clients, internal teams, and external partners to build high‑quality, compliant, future‑proof systems. What You’ll Do
- Turn client requirements into smart, compliant engineering designs
- Produce system schematics, process diagrams, flow charts and state diagrams
- Design communications networks, PLC / SCADA systems, and specify sensors and hardware
- Work with CAD engineers to create practical, build-ready panel layouts
- Develop DPS schedules, compliance matrices, mimics, popups and supporting documentation
- Ensure all designs meet standards, regulations, certifications, time and budget constraints
Production & Software
- Source hardware and negotiate with suppliers
- Oversee panel builds in-house or externally
- Develop and modify PLC, HMI and SCADA software
- Build supporting tools and utilities as needed
Testing & Delivery
- Create factory and site test specifications and test cases
- Lead testing with internal teams and client witnesses
- Log, track and close defects from FAT through to site commissioning
- Oversee packaging, logistics and delivery to site
On Site
- Produce RAMS and supervise subcontractors
- Carry out site testing and ensure full functional performance
- Support warranty activities and resolve issues promptly
Documentation & Quality
- Maintain accurate as-built drawings
- Produce O&M manuals, spares lists and H&S files
- Work safely and comply with ISO 9001, 45001, 14001 and 27001 standards
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and templates
