We're currently recruiting for an experienced PDI Technician to join a fast-paced, high-volume bodyshop. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a professional and growing operation where quality and efficiency are key.
The Role
As a PDI Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring vehicles are fully prepared, checked, and ready for handover following repair. Working closely with the workshop and paint teams, you'll ensure all vehicles meet safety and quality standards before leaving site.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on repaired vehicles
- Conduct final quality checks following body and paint work
- Identify and report any outstanding faults or defects
- Complete light mechanical work where required (e.g. bulbs, trims, fluid checks)
- Ensure vehicles are clean, presentable, and ready for customer collection
- Maintain accurate job records and inspection reports
- Work efficiently to meet daily throughput targets
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a PDI Technician, Vehicle Technician, or Prep Technician
- Background within a bodyshop or accident repair environment is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Full UK driving licence
