We are looking for an experienced Maintenance/Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team and ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of our site, buildings, and production machinery. You will manage engineers, contractors, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement across the operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all maintenance, repair, and installation activities
- Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules
- Complete plant/equipment risk assessments and improvement plans
- Create and enforce engineering procedures and standards
- Set yearly objectives and manage weekly engineering workload
- Support and develop apprentices through structured training
- Manage contractors, budgets, inventory, and service standards
- Oversee PUWER assessments and action plans
- Drive data led PM reporting and process improvements
- Provide hands on support during breakdowns when required
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years engineering or maintenance management experience in manufacturing
- Level 3+ electrical or mechanical qualification (HNC/HND desirable)
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs
