Are you an experienced Compressor Service Engineer looking to join a well-established engineering business that genuinely invests in its people? We're recruiting for a Field Service Compressor Engineer to maintain, service and repair a wide range of industrial compressed air systems across Yorkshire and the surrounding regions. The Role
Working from home, you'll attend customer sites carrying out planned preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and installations on a variety of compressed air equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintain industrial air compressors and associated equipment
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
- Repair oil-lubricated and oil-free screw compressors
- Maintain air dryers, filtration systems and compressed air networks
- Install and commission new compressed air systems
- Complete planned preventative maintenance schedules
- Produce accurate service reports and recommendations
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with current Health & Safety regulations
- Participate in a 1-in-7 on-call rota
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience servicing industrial compressed air systems
- Experience working on manufacturers such as BOGE, Atlas Copco, HPC, CompAir, Kaeser, Ingersoll Rand or similar
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
- Background in field service engineering
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
