We are recruiting an experienced Shift Operations Manager to join our FMCG manufacturing facility in Flint.
Key Responsibilities
- SIC Coordination: Lead Shift Information Connection meetings; ensure actions are tracked and closed.
- Escalation Point: Act as senior decision-maker on shift; resolve cross‑functional issues.
- Non‑Conformance Management: Investigate quality issues, complete CAPAs and ensure follow‑through.
- GMP Audits: Conduct audits; close out actions and drive compliance.
- Leader Standard Work (LSW):
- People: Complete one‑to‑ones, manage absences, investigate disciplinary issues.
- Safety: Verify safety checks, log incident/observation reporting, and close hazards.
- Quality: Review defect data, audit findings, and quality alerts; ensure checks meet standards.
- Delivery: Daily factory walk, monitor line performance, waste, speed, and CtP adherence; verify information is logged correctly.
- Improvement Projects: Lead initiatives to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and increase speed; collaborate with Day team and track measurable outcomes.
- Reporting & Handover: Ensure shift handover is complete, accurate, and action‑oriented.
Pay and Hours
Work schedule: 2 days on / 2 nights on with 4 off. Salary is competitive.
