Industrial Multi Skilled Engineer in Durham

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Industrial Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring production equipment runs efficiently with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality, professional multi-skilled (electro-mechanical) engineering service
• Carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance on production lines and site equipment
• Ensure machinery operates to required performance, quality, and safety standards
• Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and restore line availability quickly
• Communicate effectively with Engineering and Production teams regarding downtime and issues
• Support and execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes
• Accurately record maintenance activities and resolutions in shift logs
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring equipment is production-ready
• Work collaboratively with Production and Quality teams
• Assist in training operators to improve machine setting and performance

What We’re Looking For

• Multi-skilled engineer with electrical and mechanical experience
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement
• Willingness to work 12-hour day and night shifts
