An established manufacturing site is looking for an Engineering Project Coordinator to support CapEx projects, installations, and utilities work across the facility. This role offers development towards full Project Management responsibility, working closely with the Engineering Manager on site improvements and engineering upgrades.
The Role
- Support delivery of engineering installation and CapEx projects
- Assist with project planning and progress tracking
- Coordinate contractors and internal engineering teams
- Support installation of pipework, pumps, valves, and fluid transfer systems
- Assist with utilities layout including air, water, and process systems
- Contribute to commissioning and testing activities
- Support procurement of materials and services
- Use CMMS to track engineering work
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and safe systems of work
About You
- Mechanical or similar engineering background
- Experience within industrial, utilities, or process environments
- Exposure to pipework or fluid systems
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Practical, hands-on approach
- IOSH / NEBOSH desirable (or willingness to work towards)
