We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Transport Administrator to oversee and coordinate transportation activities within our logistics operations. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing shipping and receiving processes, maintaining accurate data records, and ensuring seamless communication across supply chain functions. Duties:
- Manage transportation schedules using advanced systems such as Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and SyteLine to optimise delivery routes and timings.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods in accordance with company policies.
- Utilise AS400 and other logistics software to input, update, and maintain accurate data records related to shipments, inventory, and transport documentation.
- Analyse transportation data to identify inefficiencies or delays and recommend improvements to enhance overall supply chain performance.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, third-party logistics providers (3PL), carriers, and suppliers via phone, email, and other channels, maintaining professional phone etiquette at all times.
